The Halloween season.....

How do you know Halloween is near:
1. Mommy buys silly t-shirts that say things like "I love my Mummy," and "Daddy's little Punkin'"
2. Big kids start discussing the important matters of costumes, fall festivals, and haunted hallways.
3. Gramma's annual Halloween party (no pictures because Kenneth was in charge of 3 kids by himself that night!)
4. Grammy's special black and orange dinner (orange jello and black bean soup...yum!)
5. A trip to Riverbend farm to pick out pumpkins and play on the silo slides (no pics...woops)
6. Trish and Julie come to cut pumpkins.

Emory is unsure of why the 3 big kids just bolted out of the room because there was a Trish and Julie sighting, so she just continues to play with her ring toy!

Trish and Julie have arrived with cupcakes and are in the throes of the important work of pumpkin carving.
Austen has given Julie a drawing of her pumpkin face, complete with hair...

Julie is saying, "seriously, how do I make hair?"

Morgan takes carving seriously and did ALL of it himself this year....he is getting too big!

Emory notices nobody is watching her and heads for the stairs to play.

Trish had the pleasure of carving with Bailey a "sssscccarrrry pumpkin!"

Julie is using a marker to understand Austen's design!

hahaha...they still aren't watching me!
Perfect pumpkin!

RRrrrr scary pumpkin!

Time for Grammy's dinner They ate in the dark by "lantern!"

Time for Daddy to take us trick-or-treating!
Anybody else use road flairs as their glow sticks???

My 3 little vampires...

Vampire princesses do not walk...

What do you mean they just give us candy????
