Bailey has Surgery!

Sometimes Mommy just knows things! It just might take me a while to convince other people I know it! So last August, I knew something was different about our Bailey-boy. He went to the doctor three times and got referred for an ultrasound and finally to a urologist who actually saw what I had been seeing for 9+months! Bailey had a hernia...actually one big one and one little one....he went in to have them surgically fixed. Bailey was a TROOPER about the whole situation...the little guy had to be in pain. We would see him stop playing, and literally push his hernia back in, then continue playing without ever complaining...he is TOUGH! These are the pictures of his "last day" before surgery. He wanted to get in as much playing as possible before he had to sit still for 14 days!

He LOVED getting pushed by Daddy on the swing.
(mommy never lets him go as high)

Bailey was brave waiting for surgery to start. He answered the nurse's questions, and prayed with Pastor Jay. He even practiced "blowing away the Monkey feet" for the anesthesiologist... which Kenneth has video of and will be saved for some future torture when he has a girlfriend over:) Bailey listened very well, and although it was hard he quiet and calm for 14 days. Thank you to all the people that gave him gifts to entertain him quietly. Here are some pictures of him sitting calmly!
Uncle Rob got him Presto dots, which were really cool.
And Emory shared her playdoh, too.

just chillin'
