Emory's ears

Emory went on Friday to the ear specialist for a consultation for tubes due to her really bad ear infections. He was all set to schedule tubes when he noticed excema all around her ears....more lovingly called "crusty ears" by us. He asked several seemingly non-related questions that led him to believe the she does not need tubes in her ears. He is connecting everything to allergies. So for at least the next 6 weeks, possibly much longer, she is on a strict no dairy diet! This will be a new challenge for us as we are a "very dairy" family; but it is so much better then the thought of putting her "under" for surgery. We are oh so thankful.
