Kids at Play

The boys love to be outside. So, every chance we get we go outside, even if it is just a few minutes. Austen enjoys fall and spring...otherwise it is too hot or too cold. However, she has recently discovered skating and her big wheel, and that seems to inspire her to play outside even if the temperature isn't perfect. Poor Emory's ears and naps keep her inside during most of our outdoor adventures.

Thought I would share a few pictures from the past few weeks. You can tell the ones near the bottom were a few weeks ago...no jackets!!





Morgan has really enjoyed his new scooter that Trish and Julie bought him for Christmas. He can glide from the columns to the curve with just three pushes, one more at the curve and he can hit the back of the garage.

Bailey's head is so hard we don't worry about helmets for him....Austen on the other hand would never dream of putting on her skates without the helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards even if Daddy is right there to catch her.

The boys' got racecars from Granddad Bob and Grandma Rosie. They are really getting good at driving them....but....for the sake of the furniture and the dogs we only drive them outside.

Morgan loves the "bow and arrow" that Uncle Jocque and Aunt Stephanie got him.
