Emory's Ears Update

Unfortunately Emory's ears are no better after 2 months on a dairy free diet. The doctor has scheduled a tube surgery for Mar 24th (just one day after Kenneth's birthday.) The risks are low with a quick recovery. Hopefully that will relieve whatever pain she has, and jump start her to being a bit more mobile. While she is very adept at rolling and manuevering her walker she shows very little interest in crawling, pulling up, or walking without the walker. This disturbs Kenneth immensely, even though we know developmentally she is just fine. It is our theory that the fluid in her ears throws off her balance off just enough to make moving independently a bit scary. We also decided to give dairy a chance; while she is still on the soy formula we are slowly adding dairy in foods back into her diet. Hopefully we will be able to allow her milk when she turns 1.
