What do 3 children with far too much energy, and creativity and far too little foresight do while Mommy is putting Emory to sleep and doing a few chores downstairs? They created this mess remarkably quietly, but not so queit as to make me think they were up to something.....
The purple blob at the bottom of the picture is actually a tent that was on the bed that morning. And when I left them upstairs to put Emory to sleep the rooms were immaculately clean!
Morgan felt the need to change into his swimsuit to engage in the water fight that ensued.
The bathroom doesn't generally look like this either....
Yes, that is glass in the sink. One of the children in a burst of excitement shot the lightbulb with the water-shooter and it exploded. They are very lucky nobody was hurt. The busted light was what caused Morgan to come downstairs and tell me what was going on.... Needless to say they cleaned up the whole mess (except the glass, which I did) by themselves in silence; then took their punishment, ate their lunch and went to bed!!! The water shooters were confiscated as well.
